Privacy policy
Who we are. EPC Lochristi is the controller for this website and for the requests that come in through it.
Contact. Privacy questions can be sent to info@epc-lochristi.be.
What we process. When you send a request or message, we process the details you submit: name, email address, phone number, property address, selected service, extra notes and, for job applications, your CV and motivation. We also receive technical log data from the hosting environment and the browsers that visit the site.
Why we process it. We use your data to reply to your request, prepare a quote or appointment, deliver services, handle applications and keep the site secure and working properly.
Who we share data with. That includes the mailbox provider for our general address, our hosting/CDN provider, external font providers, YouTube when you activate the video and FormSubmit for job applications. Where needed, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms for third countries.
Retention. We do not keep data longer than needed for the purpose for which it was collected, plus any legal or administrative retention duties.
Cookie policy
Current setup. The site does not use analytics, marketing or tracking cookies today. That means there is no classic opt-in cookie wall for tracking, but we do show a clear notice that the site only uses necessary technology.
Similar technologies. The homepage video only loads after you click play. We use a privacy-friendly YouTube embed and do not pre-load the video. We store your dismissal preference locally in your browser so the notice does not keep coming back.
Future cookies. If we later add analytics or marketing tools, they will load only after consent and this page will be expanded with a full cookie table and categories.
Your rights, security and changes
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, port and withdraw consent where that legal basis applies. You can exercise those rights via info@epc-lochristi.be.
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. If you believe your data is not being handled correctly, you can also file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (GBA).
This policy can change when our processing or services change. Last updated: 15 July 2026.
